Alex Potter is a co-founder of GRM and a current board member. She spent the majority of her twenties bouncing between emergency nursing domestically and working as a photojournalist throughout the Middle East - mostly in Yemen, Iraq, and Lebanon - for publications like National Geographic, The New York Times, and The Washington Post.
Alex grew up in Minnesota, and worked for a short time as a wildland firefighter in Idaho, but now calls Alaska home. She recently joined the United States Air Force to continue pursuing her calling to go above and beyond in saving lives - both in conflict, humanitarian disasters, and hard-to-reach places.
She loves trail running, water skiing, and is currently trying to keep her houseplants alive.
