Zalala is the project manager for Iraq, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and Syria. Originally a Syrian national she has lived in Iraq for 6 years. Prior to working with GRM she was a journalist and producer with investigative experience working for international titles such as the Wall Street Journal, AFP, CBS, and National Geographic. She is fluent in English, Kurdish, and Arabic.
